Thomas Sing

About Thomas Sing

Thomas Sing studied Literature, Philosophy and Psychology, with a focus on Semiotics and French authors and thinkers. He completed his M.A. with a thesis on D.A.F. de Sade, Georges Bataille and Friedrich Nietzsche.
After 3 years of teaching at the University of Augsburg, lecturing on advertising, fashion and media, he left to pursue an active career in Photography. His pictures have been published nationally and internationally in publications such as Vogue, L’Officiel, Madame, Qvest, F.A.Z. Magazin and Süddeutsche Zeitung. But his intellectual background was soon to haul him back in and to become the fundament of his artistic work. Today he explores the intersection of the mystic and the erotic experience through photography, writing and painting.
